John Allen Weston was born in 1920. Following a career in horticultural education, John moved to Jerusalem in 1973, with his wife Margaret, to serve with the Churches Ministry to the Jewish People.
Later, he joined FEBA Radio, the British missionary radio organisation. While there, John was invited by the BBC to give two series of weekly meditations. Retiring from FEBA in 1985, he continued an active Bible teaching ministry in the United Kingdom, Europe and the USA.
As well as involvement in Holy Land pilgrim-ages for over 25 years, Margaret and John have led tours in ‘The Steps of Paul’ and to ‘The Seven Churches’, including the Isle of Patmos.
This book begins in Patmos, scene of the Apostle John’s vision of Jesus Christ (‘The Revelation’), and then moves in turn to each of the churches, in what is now Turkey, to which he was instructed to write. At each stage of the journey, challenging lessons are drawn of vital importance for Christians today.
